I have been thinking about printing out a dual extruder and using 2 hexagon hotends. Or either a flexystruder dually. But my question is , how to wire it if I don’t buy it from AO. Do I have to buy the pieces to make the wiring harness be able to plug into the empty jack. Or could I wire straight to the board and get it to work? Thanks in advance for any help.
You could wire straight to the board, but it is not advised.
Buy some molex connectors from digikey, they are super cheap. Look for the BOM on devel.lulzbot.com for the part number.
