Electrical Short During Bed Leveling

Hello Everyone!

We have a Lulzbot Taz 6 and recently had to replace the control board. After reassembly, all the motors move fine and the extruder heats properly. However, during bed leveling, the printer halts as soon as the nozzle touches the first metal calibration disc. The motors stop moving, the screen turns off, and I have also seen a glow current at the contact point. This seems like a short.
This happens with both the Aerostruder and the DualExtruder print heads.

Does anyone know what could be causing this problem and how to fix it? We are planning on disassembling the printer again to look for internal wiring problems, and any guidance you could provide would be appreciated.

Thank you very much!

Where did you get the replacement board? Was this ordered from LulzBot or did you get a generic RAMBo?

There is a patch that LulzBot applies to the board and I seem to recall that this is for the zero-sense probe.

Thank you! That sounds like it might be our issue.

Apparently we got the RAMBo board (RAMBo 1.4 – UltiMachine) and had intended to include the note specifying which printer it was to be used for, but the person in charge of ordering might not have actually done so
