Has anyone tried ninjaflex in this extruder yet? In more of a direct drive setup?
The cyclops requires a lot more pressure to push filament through. I don’t think flexible filaments would do too well.
Plus bith sides would need to be flexible filament. You can’t really blend filament types with this hot end as they share a chamber.
I have the same set up with a Cyclops hot end pluse the dual Bond Tech extruders. I also have used your firmware on the taz printer and that has resolved a lot of my issues except when I try to extrude with ext1 it makes a sound like it want to move but it doesnt. I know the extruder is good because I have run both of extruders before with the Marlin firmware installed. Please help and thank you.
Can you post your config.h file so we can take a look. It sounds like a misconfiguration issue.
Thanks for the quick reply @mhackney I just found out that it was a lose cable and that fixed it. Do you have a patreon because you have saved me a lot of time with everything and i would like to pay you for all the great info you have supplied. You are truly a 3d printing God.

Most of my issues are resolved. But when I am using Simplify3d and hit home Y it moved the bed all the way to the front.

Also are the endstops suppose to work ?
End stops work. Can you post a photo of homed position so we see what you mean.
I can’t help on S3D, I threw it away.

I figured it out. I just needed to change the #define INVERT_Y_DIR 0 from 0 to 1. I will try to print a test cube and see how it goes. Thanks for all the info and help.
I was wondering if there was any updates to this mount over the last year?
I’m just about a year late finding out about the Cyclops hotend with QR extruder setup for my Taz 5 setup. I was hoping to get an update on the complete setup for conversion. So anyone can hit the ground running.
