Hi this is my first hardware issue and like some info , while printing the x-axis band gear came out the stepper motor . Im not sure if i can just put it back in or has it sheared and i new part etc . Thank you
Wow. I’ve never seen that happen before. We’ll look into this. This looks like the stem broke on the motor.

sorry Jeff posted this in another part of the forums and got a similar reply back , sheared shaft . i have just sent an e-mail to support so hopefully ill get this sorted soon.
This is a new issue, and we have multiple reports. These motors were sourced from the same manufacturer that we have been using in LulzBot printers since 2011(!), but these reports are all recent. We are in contact with the manufacturer, and are reviewing the issue. The failure rate is low, but they are there.
We haven’t been able to reproduce the issue, but are looking for new ways to induce it. We have seen it once on the assembly line.
If the printer is under warranty and it fails due to this, plz contact support@lulzbot.com with your serial number, etc.
