Lulzbot TAZ 6 initial layer ripples/peeling

Seems like no matter what I do I can’t get a consistent flat initial layer. I’ve went up and down on the z axis but still get these ripples or lifts. Any suggestions. I’ve tried doing 80% flow for initial or 80% width still get this or worse.

Your z-offset is a bit too high from the looks of it.
Also, you may want to scuff up your print bed like in the guide below.

These are all the same settings. The top 2 are acceptable but the other 4 are way to close. Can’t figure out why the inconsistency.

Since your printer’s leveling is done by electrical connection the most common way for this to fail is due to a dirty nozzle that prevents this contact until the filament is “pushed” to the sides and electrical contact is made.

This will cause your printer to think the bed is lower than it actually is, and run the nozzle into the bed when the print starts, or fail the leveling process completely.

If you see a deflection during the probing sequence, turn off the printer and restart the print.

Do not try to adjust your z-offset for a bad level as this will cause your following prints to no longer be at the same offset.
