How is one to calibrate the esteps for this tool head when the stock firmware extrudes the filament so fast it grinds the filament?
How are you doing the calibration?
When I’ve done it, I enter the commands manually and you can set the speed to anything you want, i.e. G1 E100 F100.
Yeah I guess I will do that. Lulzbot has the opportunity to set the max feed rate in the firmware code when one selects the SL tool head in the menu but I guess they didn’t for some reason.
Also, the beta Cura has some bad gcode in the start script for the Mini 2 SL tool head - they forgot to reset M206 back to Z0 when they adjusted it prior to the wipe. Not to mention the nozzle diameter being wrong.
