I just purchased the MOARstruder for my TAZ5. I installed everything per OHAI and when I was watching the it home the axis to make sure the hot end didn’t hit the bed…I got an unexpected “fan hitting the bed screw” issue. Did I do something wrong?
You’ll want to swap those out for the lower profile style that come with the new dual extruder. I believe Lulzbot can sell you a set if you call them directly.
Alternatively, you can print this file: http://download.lulzbot.com/TAZ/5.0/production_parts/printed_parts/bed_fingers/bed_finger-2.1.STL but upside down, and using the “Cut off object bottom (mm)” setting, to have it only print the top portion-- mimicking the low-profile bed clips. Set the value to 4.0 and print the replacement.
You can also move the Y axis over a little bit to clear that screw.
