I have a Lulzbot Mini 1 that sat idle for multiple years with a spool mounted and fed into the head. I would like to begin using it again. I am assuming that I immediately remove and toss the spool, but are there other tasks/tests/maintenance I should perform?

Depending on the material and humidity, the spool may be fine.
Clean the threaded rods and put fresh grease on it.
But do question whether it’s worth the effort. Superior machines are $300 or less now.
Thanks…I would just rather not throw it away. If it doesn’t work then of course, but I’m not printing anything complex.
