Hello Lulzbot! I just got my Taz 4 yesterday to add to my fleet of 3D printers and I have to say I’m really excited about it. The first 2 prints (level test and octopus) went off without a hitch after calibration. The problem I am running into is that the bed does not want to hit proper temp when I send the job from Simplify3D. In fact, its having a hard time reaching temp when I manually preheat now as well. For some reason it floats between 83 and 84°C but never hits the target 85°C.
Any help and guidance would be greatly appreciated. I know I can force the job to start “under temp” but I would still like to have it hit the 85° mark proper. I think 85 should be a easy goal to hit since on my other printers I typically print at 100°C due to having to add the glass print bed on top of the standard bed. Thanks in advance! Please see screesnot for temp reading. It will jump to as low as 83.9 and as high as 84.8
