I have a Taz 5, and I’m replacing the thermistor with one from the store, 100k Semitec GT-2 Thermistor. However, can someone tell me the connector name that goes to the wiring harness? I think it’s a 2 pin Molex, but I need help finding the correct one. Thanks so much, trying to keep this old printer running as long as I can.
Sadly I can’t find the BOM for the Taz 5 so I can’t say for certain.
By the look of things on the OHAI assembly instructions though, it looks like they used a connector from the Molex SL family. If you still have the old thermistor, look at the connector itself, and you should find a part number on it that you can use to search for on Digikey, Newark, Mouser, etc.
If you don’t have that, you can find the part number on the female connector, search for that, and then usually cross-reference that for the male counterpart.
