30 hours into a 33 hour print, cura throws an error, printing stops, print ruined. Error says an error was encountered and pythonw.exe has to close… Any thoughts on ways to prevent this from happening in the future? Not sure whether to start the print over or not, may fail again after 30 hours… Is Simplify3D a more reliable way to go? Is there something else that can be done?
Is printing off the SD card more reliable than printing from Cura over USB?
I think I know why it failed. Security update installed automatically on the PC. Not Cura’s fault.
Printing from SD will remove possible computer errors like updates, power settings, sleep settings, etc. Glad you are able to get it sorted!
