ABS warping on first few layers

I’m having some issues with ABS in the first few layers of the print. I’m not getting the splitting issues that I’ve seen elsewhere in the forums, rather I’m getting ripples and shrinkage in the first few layers.

I was printing with the standard settings in cura and wasn’t having issues but the last several prints have had some issues that are similar to this.

Could be the nozzle too close to the bed. Try a Z-offset of .1 to .2.

When the nozzle is too close, the pressure in the nozzle builds up so that it deflects the bed enough to extrude in “bursts”. I’ve never seen it quite like your print though… so I could be wrong.
