Cura only slices to create a top layer

Cura 4.13.17 is only producing code for a top layer. I have used prev versions of cura on my Taz 6 with success and easily. I have tried the new software on multiple models (obj and stl). The models load fine and are easy to adjust scale or orientation. I have tried high detail, standard, and fast. Every time I hit slice, only the topmost layer of the model is produced (including roctopus, he gets one tiny circle on top of his head as entire g-code). My old Win10 computer is acting up, so I can’t use the old cura on that. I’m now on Win11. I can adjust number of walls and see the correct output on the preview of the tool path. Please help, thank you.

Some screenshots might help.

What does the text of the .gcode file look like?

Ok, thanks for that question. The G-code does claim 10 layers, but I’m not familiar enough with 3D print to interpret that confidently. Attached is a screen shot. I’ve never had this problem with older version of Cura. In the past it always showed me all of the layers being built from the bottom up in the tool preview. Per the screenshot, it is still only showing the top layer’s tool path. I don’t know how to read Z=0 in the g-code. Basic question persists: Why only one layer of tool path in preview? Thank you for help.

I guess I’m too new to upload a file of gcode.

You should be able to post the raw text of the .gcode file somewhere, github, google docs, etc.

Here is link on google. Thanks

That GCODE is absolutely making all the layers.

Visualization has all the layers, and manually looking at the text has it as well. Maybe it’s just a view setting that’s throwing you off? Everything looks good here.
