I have a Taz 6 Stock.
Iam building two Titan Aero Print Heads One going to be a Volcano 2.85 and the other a V6 1.75.
Question is heater cartridge will the Rambo and wiring put out more than 30 or 40watts safely to accommodate a higher wattage cartridge?
Wondering if others have built Volcano or V6 with hotter cartridges?
50w is no problem. The M175v2 is compatible, and uses a 50w cartridge.
Additionally, the Dual V3 toolhead used dual 30w cartridges, so even 60w should be fine.
Just ensure you do a PID autotune when doing such a radical change to the heater, or the machine will have a hard time stabilizing the temperature.
Please rememebr that it is a PWM output, so you have the current rating for the connector and the total Watts rating of the supply really. The F.E.T. driving the heater will not really care.
