How do I connect a lulzbot mini?

Hi,

Someone has asked me to check a lulzbot mini, the printer info on the screen tells me it is a 2.1.3.0.45 I have no other info. It loos to run all the manual movements including bed leveling.

I have downloaded and opened cura luzbot edition 4.13.17

I have the quickstart guide on screen.

The panel on the printer shows quite different from the quick start guide leading me to believe I maybe don’t have the mini3? It clearly says luzbot mini on the front and looks like the one in the pictures in the guide apart from the spool holder on mine is above the printer as opposed to alongside it in the picture.

I have a lead connected from the computer to the usb port on the front of the printer but can’t see in the cura software how to connect it and can find nowhere to add a usb stick as mentioned in the guide?

I have managed to load filament and have it leaking out of the nozzle so the head and the bed are hot enough.

Can anyone help me get started?

Mini 3. Obvious difference is the color touchscreen.

Mini 2. Always has a screen. Uses belts to lift the gantry.

Mini 1. Can have a screen, but usually doesn’t. Gantry lifts with leadscrews, not belts.

If the printer is labeled “LulzBot Mini” and the software version is 2.1.3.0.45, then it is a Mini 2. Version 2.1.3.0.45 is a Marlin firmware version (the Mini 3 runs Klipper), and that version was never released for the Mini 1. Should look like the second picture Wrathernaut posted above.
