The case fan is a 24V 80mm fan but when I measured across the terminals, it is 12.6V. I’ve also looked up the EinsyRetro 1.0a specification and it says fans are 12-24V. The only other information I’ve found is the schematic on the OHAI website only labels the 24V fan but not the case fan which is nearby. I need to know so i can decide what fans to buy. Thanks!
It is 24V. The case fan does not run at full speed, that’s why it read at a lower voltage. You need a fan rated for the power supply in the printer, which is a 24V power supply. If you put a 12V fan in a printer with a 24V power supply the fan will burn out.
