Mini Print Heads, X Limit switch?

I was looking to covert my Aerostuder for my mini to a SE head to work with an adapter. In the process of doing that I noticed there’s no switch on the new heads.

Here’s my Aerostuder with switch:

And here is the adapter mount and part that needs to be replace on the aero.

So my question is, how are the new heads and adapter plates working on old mini without the limit switch?

New Aerostruder Micro tool head? mentions that it’s a software limit. You’re required to home before any movements will be allowed.
