I am modifying my Taz 5 to printer taller objects. I know where to get the longer frames / metal rod / and longer lead axis screws. Only thing I’m not sure is if I have to change anything software / firmware related. I just need a point in the right direction, or any information is appreciated.
The values you will need to change would be in configuration.h in firmware, specifically the z maximum height. you would also need to change the printer parameters in whatever slicing software you use
Thank you sounds easy enough, only thing is where do I find the configuration.h? would U connect the printer to my computer to go into that file? sorry I am complete;y new to modifying a 3d printer or files for them.
