Multiple User Accounts Yosemite FAIL

I’m working in a school environment with Macs running 10.10.5 Yosemite and Cura 18.04. When I install Cura I have access from that user but all other users give me the error message "You do not have permission to open the application “Cura”

I’m messed with permissions, moved everything to read-write, for package contents and just the app. Moved everyone to admin user and repaired permissions about a million times. Also did a pram reset etc. Now i’ve switched to Cura 18.03 and have had success switching between users!

Anyone else having this issue? Is it an 18.04 thing?

There were problems noted with the Windows version of Cura 18.04. The AO folks advised that Windows users revert to 18.03 until they get things resolved. This is the first I’ve heard of a problem with a MAC version

Is it possible that this is due to the “Allow apps downloaded from” option in the Security & Privacy options of the preferences ?
