PLA Heat Creep - SOLVED

I mentioned the other day i’ve been having terrible heat creep issues on my mini with PLA and HIPS. Adding my before mentioned 40mm fan upgrade seem to have worked wonders on the HIPS. Haven’t tested the PLA yet. One idea i played with was adding a notch to mine that helped air flow as air flow was a lot more restricted than i expected. Perhaps that is not an issue with a smaller fan. But the lower notch was actually cooling my HIPS too much that warping and curling increased dramatically, so i went back to the solid fan. Still like my 40mm fan upgrade as its much better than the mini blower.

For the original cooling model using the tensioner, could it be modified to utilize the metal holes that align the hotend and further cool the top of the heatsink instead of the filament route downward?
