The USB connector broke on my TAZ Workhorse, so I ordered a replacement board. In short, we unplugged everything from the broken board, plugged everything into the new board, bolted it in place, and fired it up. The screen lights up but is blank. Does anyone have an idea of what might be happening? I double checked to make sure everything is plugged in correctly, as we took a picture before unplugging. I was going to try to update the firmware but the Cura Lulzbot software is saying it ‘cannot connect to printer’. I am waiting to hear back from Lulzbot, but when I asked for instructions to replace the board, they sent me to the assembly instructions.
If it needs to be flashed, it won’t show up as a printer, but you should be able to update the firmware. The programming “channel” for the board is separate from the printer “channel”, and the printer channel won’t exist until it’s been flashed with the firmware.
Dumb question, how do I flash it if I can’t connect the USB to my computer? Sorry, noob here.

Since the RAMBO is used in various printers, it isn’t loaded with any firmware, but it still has the bootloader capable of receiving firmware via USB.
