When I home my TAZ 5 3d printer it homes normally for the x axis, and z axis, however when it’s time for the y axis to home it moves away from the limit switch and jitters against the end of the rail for around five seconds before stopping and returning a error that goes as “Printer Error, Homing Failed, Please reset.” I was wondering if anybody knows what could cause this issue, as I’m unable to puzzle out what the issue could be. Thank you for your help!
Does it move the correct direction when you move it manually from the movement menu, or reversed? The bed should move away from you as you lower the Y coordinate.
If it’s not doing that, it’s wired wrong.
If it does move correctly with manual movements, it’s a firmware issue.
