Taz 6 y-axis glitch movement problem

Hi all, I have a LulzBot Taz 6 and I’m experiencing a y-axis problem.

When I print, the y-axis exhibits glitchy movement, as shown in the video. [Y axis problem 2 - YouTube] This occurs unpredictably – sometimes during the printing of the first layer, other times in the middle of printing, during pauses, or even at the end of printing. I’ve already replaced the y-axis step motor and pulley, and I’ve ensured that the pulley and belt are securely locked in place. However, the issue persists. What steps should I take to solve this problem?

I’m in a country with a 110-voltage system. I’m using Cura LulzBot Edition 3.6.37 and Marlin 1.1.9.

Thank you

I had the same problem, it was a blown stepper driver. Have bought a new board directly fro Ultimachine, a lot cheaper than from Lulzbot!

Thank you very much!!
I got it!

One more thing, do I just replace the board with RAMBo1.4 , without any new setup on the firmware and software ?

I replaced with 1.3 as I wasn’t sure if the wiring was the same.

But yes, it will need flashing with up to date firmware.
