Hey all. I’ve got a TAZ 5 that started beeping and slamming the gantry after I swapped in a new thermistor. Turns out the thermistor was never seated in the board header — it was just hanging loose. Now the board won’t talk over USB and won’t take firmware from SD, so I’m guessing it’s fried.
I’m a broke student working full-time in IT, so I can’t swing even the forty-dollar used board on eBay right now. If anyone’s already upgraded to an SKR or Archim and has an old RAMBo sitting in a parts bin, I’d be incredibly grateful for a donation. Happy to pay shipping if that’s the only ask.
