Nozzle for carbon fiber

To print filament with carbon fiber can I just change the nozzle in the Meteor 175? Or do I need to change the entire tool head to the HS? I am currently using the HS 285mm 0.8 nozzle, but I am running 1.75mm filament, so I would prefer to use the tool head designed for 1.75 and just change out the nozzle for a hardened steel one. Perhaps this depends on the specific cf filament, but I would like to do nylon CF so the nozzle temp is high like 280 so is that a problem for the Meteor 175?

The LGX has hardened steel drive gears and can handle CF filaments, but the nozzle has to be swapped out for a hardened steel V6 style nozzle.

The max temp is 290 I believe, limited in the firmware.

Now, I am unsure about the heat break - someone else will have to chime in if that needs to be swapped out - but I doubt it.

Swap with a v6-style wear-resistant nozzle and you’ll be able to print with CF. Most wear-resistant nozzles will need temperature tuning to work right, but if you spend the $ on a diamondback, you shouldn’t need to change anything.
