I’ve been using the purple spackling compound on some of my prints for quite a while and it works really well to hide the layer lines. And you are right, if it gets into any of the finer detail areas it’s a real pain to get out.
You also may want to be careful spreading that glue in the video with your finger. I’m pretty sure it is a neurotoxin. You may want to consider wearing some nitrile gloves.
