– my TAZ5 has been running for years…
– now it has stopped in the middle of a print – as if my electric power had blinked – (none of my other clocks and gadgets were affected by a possible blink)…
– now it goes right back to ‘opening screen’ after giving it a temperature or print-from-SD instruction…
– I no longer have internet at home – and am puzzled over how to reload the firmware (?? Marlin 2015Q1 ??) using my laptop here at the library…
– can I download an .exe file then run it at home ???
---- ’ next morning. I slept on it.
- Cura IS the program. right ??
- I should be able to make a print from the laptop, using a USB cord… then reload Cura into the machine by using the Cura menu…
- I will try those things when I get home.
---- ’ next, next morning…
- yes. Cura IS the program. my Taz-5 will not run from the Cura in my laptop ---- and when I load Cura into the machine, it will not run from the little menu-box on top.
Please take these comments out of the firmware section, and place them into the general category. The Firmware is okay / my Taz-5 is not okay. I will probably drive it up to Bismark.
