Can't Print Larger Than 145.4mm in Cura

Hello all!

I’m new to 3D printing so there is probably a simple answer to my issue.

I’m trying to print an object that is 150mm in diameter. The problem is that if I make the object any larger than 145.4mm the object goes gray and Cura won’t print it. The mini is advertised to have a “Print Area: 152mm x 152mm x 158mm (6in x 6in x 6.2in)” and I really need to be able to print up to 150mm. This was one of my requirements when looking for a 3D printer and one reason why I chose the mini.

I’m not sure if I’m looking at the right thing but if I go to Machine>Machine Settings it shows maximum width depth and height of 155, 155, 163 respectively. I don’t know if this helps or not.

Printer: Lulzbot Mini
Software: Cura 15.02.1-1.03

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

You might try telling it to not make the skirt. That might give you the 6 MM of space the skirt is normally taking up on the bed.

Thank you kmanley that did it!

I knew there was probably a simple answer as I am still learning.

Thanks so much for your suggestion!
