Cura v18.04 crashing

Hi,
Currently in the mid of printing a 49 hour run. Using Cura 20.01 with TAZ 6.
Since about 28.9% run earlier (based on the display), Cura is “not responding”, which I noticed just while ago when I was about to adjust the bed temperature higher.
The printing is still going and in an earlier run, I have noticed the same 'not responding’scenario but only when the printing is over in the morning.

A bit worrying considering the amount of time (and material) already run. I guess all I can do for the meantime is to wait hoping that the print will continue to complete, before re-starting Cura.

Any similar experience and remedies about this case will be appreciated.

That is the same problem I have with my Mac, see my earlier post in software. Print finishes, but Cura has hung up a few hours into the print.

@Pete, thanks for the heads up. yes I reed through the thread before for previous hang-up problems.
Only that I am now using Cura 20.10 version and seemingly the bug is not yet fixed since flagged into the forum.
I am running it on my PC with Windows 10 OS.

Greetings,

Appreciate the effort to track down this issue. Wondering if there is any confirmed fix for this yet. Last I could tell by this thread, 17.10 appears to have been a stable release without this issue. Any success with the later releases?
