Need help with my mini 1

every time I hit print in my mini 1 it would do this thing where the printing plate would move to the end and then start shaking and making this weird sound. It was like it was trying to move farther than it was supposed to. After that it would just give up and disconnect from my computer. Can someone please help me

First is to check the endstop switches.

Where would I locate those. Do I have to disconnect the printer

Check that they’re mounted correctly, and test the switch operation with a multimeter or connected to the computer through terminal commands to check endstop status.
