Over-extruding filament - Help!

Has anyone experienced this problem before? Here’s a video:

The filament is over-extruding and is resulting in a goopy mess. I went through the process to calibrate the extruder, updated the firmware, and replaced the nozzle. Nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think if you take the print head off and examine the bottom of it, you will find that the lower half of your nozzle, which should have a hole about large enough to pass a pin through at best, instead has a large hole where the tip used to be. If you are under warranty call support. if you aren’t. buy a new nozzle and swap it in. Doing so yourself if you are under warranty will likely void the nozzle warranty, but it’s not too difficult to do.

You look like you effectivly have about a 3.00mm nozzle instead of a 0.5mm one at the moment.

That or maybe the nozzle is missing entirely. it should be a cone shaped brass thing.

Just one to check based on the video. Do you have you filament diameter set to 1.75mm instead of 2.85mm in your slicing software?
