Was given a tax 6 and included was a new M175 V2 print head. Upon looking through all the print heads, it looked like the cleanest one to start with. I have thus gone through and installed the print head with the adapter plate and wire harness, selected the print head on the machine and in curable, but when selecting to auto home on the machine it misses the press down switch by approximately half an inch in the Y axis and the X axis by about the same making the nozzle come down on the plastic deck just in front of the switch
Is there a simple way to edit the home with the appropriate X, y coordinates? I’m not sure what I’m missing
Thanks In advance
Are you sure you don’t have a M175v1? The difference between the v1 and v2 is the nozzle position.
It very well could be the version 1 I don’t know the difference someone wrote in blue ball point pen ink on the green fan duct at the top m175 v2 but on looking around the site I notice the fan duct does not have the v2 printed anywhere. Leading me to think it’s not v2
Where might I find the v1 firmware?
I don’t know which version of Cura was current before the M175v2 change, but if you go through the firmware in previous cura versions - https://software.lulzbot.com/Cura_LulzBot_Edition/Windows/ you can certainly find it. It would almost certainly be a 3.6 version, so start there and I think you’re looking for something like Marlin_TAZ6_M175_2.0.0.144_xxxxxx.hex, where the xxxxxxx is a build id code of sorts.
